I really love Vampires so this series is right up my alley. This is the first book in the Aaron's Kiss Series.Aaron McManus is a very old, very powerful vampire and the new head honcho Master Vampire. While visiting some members of his realm, Aaron runs into some trouble with his own guards trying to murder him.
Sara Temple, a beautiful young woman working as a pilot for some vamps in the realm, saves the master vampire.....which starts in motion a whole slue of problems. Sara has many secrets, being a former guard to the queen of magick.
The book sure had tons of exciting things going on. Aaron discovering the young beauty Sara is his mate......she is one wild crazy woman and sure gives Aaron a run for his money. She possesses much power and the ending is amazing and you don't want to miss it.

I really enjoyed Blood, Body and Mind - the first book of the Aaron's Kiss Series. Strong male and strong female characters. I am a sucker for stories with protective males and this one delivered. While I really liked the book, I am giving it 4 of 5 stars because I felt like some parts were not explained well and the editing/proofreading could have been better. Looking forward to the next book!
A great start to a new series, I love to read books that have characters that continue to grow with each new installment. I !was not a huge fan of Vampires and Magical creatures,but Kathi won me over with her wonderful characters and plenty of romance and HOT sex and lots of action. I recommend this story and this author to all my friends! Keep up the great work Kathi!
I had started reading Barton's books with the Force of Nature series.....passed by this series for some reason....but then, after having read so many of her series, I decided to give this one a try.....very glad that I did! Good story.....really interesting characters.....already ordered the second book in this series.....plus it will keep me from bugging Barton as to where are the next books in three of her other series I am hooked on!
Loved the synopsis, even sort of liked the characters but the style of writing was very choppy.
It was very hard to follow.
I couldn’t get lost in the story.
In the first book of this series, Sara is a hunted young woman working for a small airline.
Aaron is a vampire who has just inherited this kiss.
Their meeting is quite explosive.
Sara is headstrong, and Aaron is used to having people doing as he says. He's not used to being told "No".
As they battle each other and their growing relationship, she is hunted by an immortal being while protecting another.
Come see how they fare. Kathi is an outstanding author, and you will not be disappointed.
I've read thr entire series, and it's actually really good, but this book is all over the place. There are 10 different places where the author says sets up the plot, then completely contradicts herself or never addresses it again. The main male character constantly treats the main female character like a child and demeans her, but halfway through the novel she's like "i'm in love with him." The rest of the series though has a little more thought and development
Sara Temple is a warrior to the Queen of Magic, but she's now she needs to lay low or be sentenced for the death of the Queen. She's been working as a pilot for April and Demetrius Calovetti who believe she's nothing but quite human who keeps to herself. Oh how wrong they are.
Aaron MacManus is the new Master of the realm. He has no time for a mate and hasn't considered finding one after living thousands of years without finding one. But one visit to the Calovetti's hangar results in a fight for his life against those who wish to kill him for the realm and a run-in to his mate!
